Resistant Potty
toddler Potty Training question?
My son is about 3 months away from turning 3. We tried potty training several times since he turned 2 but he was very resistant and I would stop and try again another time. This time he took right to it. He has been in big boy undies for a week now and doing both #1 and #2 on the potty. He only had 2 accidents on the first two days we started training. I have been putting a diaper on him at night since we just started this and I wasn’t sure if he could go all night, but he hasn’t peed in his diaper at night either. Since it has gone so well I am nervous that we will end up having problems in the next couple of weeks. If it goes this smooth at first do they usually continue to do well or should I be expecting him to revert at some point in the next few weeks? This is my first and I haven’t experienced potty training before so I can’t be sure what to expect. Thanks in advance!!!
my own son was potty trained at 16 months and once he got it that first week he was fine after that until my daughter was born a month later then he went back to having accidents. so from what i know you should be fine unles there is going to be any changes like new baby, daycare etc
