Toilet Seats For Potty Training
My 16 month old really enjoys using the toilet. Anyone else go straight to the toilet at a young age?
My daughter although likes to sit on the potty fully clothed- when sitting with a nappy off, does not want to sit for long and seemed quite scared when she did a job in it for the first time- so I thought i would leave it thinking that she is not ready for Potty Training. Today, I decided to try using the toilet- she have done 3 jobs using the toilet today already and is very very excited to be using it. She is happy to sit for as long as it takes, tries to push for a poo, even though it is not ready to come and very pleased with herself afterwards. Whenever I praise her afterwards for what she did- she makes the sign that I gave her for a potty and gets very happy and excited. Anyone else find this with a young baby? I’m not worried or pressuring my daughter into toilet/potty training- I’ll only continue if she is happy about it. Am planning to get a Toilet Training seat to put on top- more for size as she does not seem to worry at all that the seat is cold/hard for her.

It may be time to seize the opportunity. While many children train much later these days, you may have a true early bloomer.
Why not give full-blown potty training a chance? You can get a special seat for the toilet so she doesn’t fall in. The worst case scenario is some soiled clothes and back to nappies; but you might just find she’ll surprise you and is ready for big girl panties.
