Potty Training Plan

When we start Potty Training should he switch to training pants or stay in diapers?

im starting to potty train my lil boy in january i just want to have a plan set like ill get him comfortable with the bathroom then his potty and such but i wasnt sure if when we start to uses the potty if i should make the transition in to training pants or continue in diapers untill he has more of a hang of things. also any other tips will help

I found both ways useless(I am assuming you are referring to pull ups and the like). Training pants were really diapers with “Big Kid” characters on it My daughter used them like diapers. I found the best way for her was to buy actual cloth training pants. Gerber makes them and they are thicker than actual panties or underwear (they absorb some liquid) but not so thick that they can’t feel when they are wet. I used those at home while we worked on connecting the dots of what it feels like to pee and the act of going. I also let my daughter just be naked, then I just had to clean up the floor and not do 50 million loads of laundry. Thats me. Once she started to get the hang of it on a regular basis I used the cloth training pants and a plastic diaper cover panty that went over top of the training pants for when we went out.
Treats/rewards for going.
Its a long process!! There will be days of 2 steps forward and 1 step back, months with no accidents and then boom! accident, accident, accident and then back to normal.
Get comfy, its going to be a long ride!
